This week saw Qatar Goodwood Festival, popularly referred to as ‘Glorious Goodwood’, get underway.
Over the years Spacelab have developed an ongoing relationship with the Goodwood Estate, having initially designed the new Press Box within the March Grandstand, housing up to 130 journalists on busy race days.
Since then we've gone on to extend the look and feel of the Press Box throughout the rest of the space within the March Grandstand, all with the driving purpose of making the experience even better for the visitors and people who use the space.
We initially presented our designs to the Duke of Richmond in virtual reality, helping to give a real three dimensional understanding of how people will move around and use the space.
So with the sun shining down, and over 100,000 people expected to attend across the five days, a few of our Labbers who worked on the project headed down to Goodwood to soak up the action and see our designs in use in real life, exactly how they had envisaged it in virtual reality.
