Meet Joe, August’s ‘Most Valuable Player’ (MVP)!

Being part of Spacelab intermittently for over two years now, Joe demonstrates so many of our core values day in, day out. Tirelessly providing help and impetus to a variety of projects across architecture, interiors and general-charity-boozy-bingowingy-party-planning, his togetherness, positivity and skill make him a very successful and sought after member of the Lab team.

In August, however, it may have been Joe’s dynamism - both mental AND physical - that impressed the MVP panel. During the day, Joe would constantly jump from task to task, navigating through several schemes and softwares to provide exceptional support to those around him. But as day turned to night, and the moon slowly descended into the sticky London heat, Joe ran, swam and cycled his way to the European Championships, representing Great Britain and Spacelab in the triathlon (read more here). No-one will tri-harder than Joe to help out a colleague (shameful pun, but Joe himself would politely laugh at this, because that’s just the kind of nice guy he is), and that is why in yet another month of exceptional candidates, he took home the prize.

Here's what a few of the voters had to say about Joe:

“Always with a great smile ready to help with any issue to make life easier”

“He is always ready to help no matter how busy he is, he never says no. Always kind and in the best mood.”

“So helpful with anything and everything - he did a great job with helping organise the Bingo Wings event last week - amazing vegan wings!!! He's stayed late a few times to help with many other parties and events which i feel has gone slightly unnoticed to all! So i thought i would vote for him to hopefully share this lovely togetherness!!”

“Always ready to help on everything (not just architecture) and always helping with a smile!!!”
