We’re excited to announce that our commitment to empowering people has been recognised by the HR Distinction Awards. We’ve been shortlisted for the category, ‘Supplier-Led HR Innovation and Collaboration’ for our work with Haymarket Media Group.

At Spacelab, our mission is to create spaces that make people feel good and be great. While our role is to design spaces, ultimately our goal is to help people to succeed at work. We worked closely with the CEO and HR Director at Haymarket Media Group to improve collaboration across the business – bringing people working for previously siloed publications together.

The results from our post-occupancy evaluation of their colleagues using the new space have demonstrated that we’ve been successful at meeting the project objectives, to: 1) release capital from the existing space; 2) maximise spatial efficiency; 3) increase collaboration; and 4) foster a sense of pride in the workplace.
