EMAP’s auto magazines division was housed in a large office building. Our role was to free up the space, breaking down the traditional office configuration to make a more flexible and dynamic environment that encourages interaction and communication among all staff.

We used the existing atrium to create a bank of glazed meeting rooms. Each glazed wall is illuminated by a frame of coloured light so that a glowing patchwork effect animates the atrium, with coloured light rippling down through the space as people move into and out of the meeting rooms.
