With RHS award-winning gardener Andy Sturgeon, we’ve created a contemporary rooftop garden space for the staff of Great Ormond Street Hospital. A calm, green antidote to the clinical hospital environment, it’s the one place staff don’t have to share with patients and visitors.
Varied landscaping uses planting to create a series of semi-private areas for eating, sitting, socialising or lying on the grass. The three hoops add a sculptural element, framing the rooftop views of London, and provide a place to recognise the lives of those GOSH staff who were caught in the nearby 7/7 London bombings.
