The old Britannia Music headquarters is a landmark site in the centre of Ilford. Our brief was to create a large scale urban development scheme for the site in line with the Mayor’s London Plan. This was a fantastic opportunity to design a great piece of architecture whilst bringing modern housing and revitalized urban space to Ilford’s town centre.

A mixed-use scheme, it combines commercial space on the ground and first floors with office space and residential apartments. The scheme is designed to extend the existing street through the development, re-connecting patterns of walkways through the town centre and generating new life in the public and commercial spaces.
