On the 17th May 2008, Spacelab's Nathan Lonsdale (Director) and Colin Macgadie (Associate) will be partaking in a challenge of a lifetime, the 'Biarritz 2 Barcelona' bike ride. They will join approximately 20 other riders on a grueling tour through the Pyrenees Mountains to raise money for 'The Children's Trust'. The riders set themselves a target to raise £50,000.

To help Nathan and Colin raise their targets, Spacelab decided to arrange a fundraising party. The evening consisted of Karaoke (for those brave enough), a raffle with some fantastic prizes, an auction which saw an incredible bid of £2,700 for a weeks stay in a villa near Prague, not to mention an 'interesting' rendition of '500 Miles' by the Proclaimers by our cyclists in their lycra!

Spacelab would like to thank everyone for their support and for all the generous donations made to this very worthy cause.
In total, a massive £6,253.27 was raised from donations and the evening's events. All proceeds will go to 'The Children's Trust'.
