As a building of 'special interest', original features have been carefully integrated into the refurbishment for Virgin Management. Exposed brickwork, timber flooring and large sash windows all enhance the character of the building. A new reception, meeting rooms and offices were all added to the scheme as well as large areas of glazing creating a feeling of openness.

Spacelab worked to the principle of 'minimal intervention' creating a blank canvas for the application of brand identity. The decorative themes and furniture of the offices and meeting rooms were influenced by Virgin's core values as well as its business and geographic diversity.
