The design of this modern contemporary dwelling has been created around a spine wall which runs through the centre of the house and forms a 'wall of life' for the family. There is storage, display and activity in the wall and itis accessed both through individual bedrooms and through the main living space of the house.

The majority of the building is clad in perforated steel cladding with glazed openings within. There is a large expanse of glazing to the south and west sides of the site which is shaded from summer sun by being setback from the building envelope and through the use of louvres at first floor level.
