Spacelab have won the prestigious Building Better Healthcare 2008 Award for 'Best External Space' for their recently completed roof top pavilion and garden at Great Ormond Street Hospital This is the second time Spacelab have won the award in this category in the last three years. The previous award was awarded to ‘The Orangery’ in 2006 which was also for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Building Better Healthcare Awards recognise excellence in all building, improvement and design projects within the healthcare industry. This year was the tenth anniversary of the awards and it is now the biggest healthcare building design event of the year.
