Spacelab have won planning permission on appeal for a modern family home in a low density suburban setting in Wellingborough. At ground floor the dwelling is constructed in rendered blockwork which wraps around the site to provide a courtyard garden with sliding and folding glazed openings.

The first floor façade will be clad in standing seam zinc, which is a continuation of the roof material, echoing the roof and dormer of neighbouring dwellings. Glazed openings benefit the dwelling with as much natural daylight as possible and the new landscaped courtyard and pool will provide an external space for relaxation, air and exercise.
