Spacelab were commissioned by Today FM and FM 104 to formulate a spatial business strategy that would see the two radio stations relocating into one building in Dublin. This brought with it the opportunity for creating new working patterns that would enable the stations to operate independently, interact on a joint level as well as maintaining their well established identities.

The result was a fluidly connected space that maintained each station's independence whilst also enabling them to share a reception, studios, meeting spaces and entertaining spaces. Integral to this connectivity was a new continuous staircase that linked the three floors together. The use of large glazed panels on the floor and in the studios further adds to the sense of connectivity.
