Spacelab was awarded Best Knowledge Transfer Partnership in London and the East of England by the Technology Strategy Board. This was followed by an award for the Best Partnership by the UCL Awards for Enterprise 2010. Over more than two years, Spacelab had developed a new workplace consultancy service in collaboration with UCL's Bartlett School of Graduate Studies.

The new service is rooted in the belief that office designs can be improved by gathering systematic information about a client and their ways of working. We use this information for informed decision-making during the design process. The project was hugely successful and lead to a series of workplace consultancy commissions for Spacelab.
