When the Anglian Water Group planned a new waste recycling plant in Corby, they asked us to design a temporary visitors’ centre for promoting the benefits of the plant to the community. The focus is on a light, natural feeling with a glazed pavilion that ‘floats’ above an extensively planted water feature.

The centre is an important community liaison tool for the organisation, so it has been design to be transportable. After being simply dismantled, it can be moved by lorry to the next site and re-erected within eight weeks.
