This new extension aims to transform the Royal Northern College of Music building into a lively, popular place with the addition of two new commercial units, new practice studios and a new bar and restaurant.

A new entrance foyer allows people clear access to the building and the staircase brings life to the front of the building, animating the glazed façade with the movement of people walking up and down and spilling out into the foyer area.
