Christmas can be a very difficult time for many people, particularly those without stable homes or who are struggling to feed themselves and their families.
So this year we're supporting our local Trussell Trust food bank by collecting as many donations as possible to help bring a little hope to families in our community that need it the most this Christmas.
Our pop-up food bank collection point is open and we’re ready to take donations of non-perishable and in-date food. Please bring a tin or two and pop in and say hello. We’d love to see you. We’re open for any deliveries on Monday 10 - Wednesday 12 December between 9.30am - 6pm and on Monday 17 December 9.30am to 12pm. With less and less people being able to afford the basics, a donation of non-perishable, in-date food will go a long way.
Thank you so much to the brilliant people who have supported our campaign so far, including Martin King, Susie Hamilton, Karen Howard, Michael Teixeira, James Halford, Jayne Halford, Milliken and Nuggets of Learning Ltd.
We’ll be making the delivery to the Islington Trussell Trust food bank on Monday 17 December, so we have just one week left to collect as many food items and donations as possible.
Don’t have time to pop in? Not to worry, you can still make a difference by making a donation here.
We genuinely do believe in the power of people, and we believe that, together, we can make a difference.
