We designed a new workplace for our long-standing client, Virgin Management, within the iconic, grade II-listed Battleship building in west London. Their new space maximises collaboration and offers total flexibilty for their people.
The large, open-plan space is divided into a series of zones, named after household rooms, and are strategically located to encourage movement through the office – increasing opportunities for chance interaction. We also supported the team to adopt activity-based working, supported by cloud-based infrastructure, to reduce their overall desk provision to less than 80% of their total headcount.
The aesthetic is 'functional but fun'. It incorporates an electric mix of furniture and finishes that add flourishes of colour which provide a contrast against the exposed services and monochrome palette.
