Working closely with West Ham Baptist Tabernacle we have designed a new mixed use development scheme to help support further growth and serve the wider community.
Located in Stratford, East London, the redevelopment of the site will provide over 450m2 of new community and church floor space over the ground and lower ground floor levels, including a new congregation hall, café, crèche and Sunday school. Above will be seventeen residential apartments split over five floors, ranging from one bed to three bed family dwellings, which will be sold to fund the community facility.
Designed to complement the surroundings, the development adds a striking and contemporary aesthetic to the streetscape. The angled and stepped terracing of the proposed scheme reduces the overall bulk and mass, whilst the mixture of materials and finishes creates interest to the elevations and blends in to the immediate urban grain in a contemporary manner.
